How far ahead should I book?+
Two to four weeks is usually enough. The end of the month and summer weekends fill up fast, so book those earlier. We can often fit in last-minute local moves too.
How is the price calculated?+
Local moves are billed by the hour for the crew and truck, with a short minimum. Long-distance moves get a flat price based on what you're moving. Either way, you get it in writing first.
Do I have to empty my dressers?+
Clothes can stay in the drawers. Take out anything breakable, liquid or valuable, and we'll wrap the dresser so the drawers stay shut.
Can you take apart and set up furniture?+
Yes. Bed frames, tables and most standard furniture are taken apart and put back together as part of the move.
What can't you move?+
Paint, gas, propane, ammunition and other hazardous materials. Keep medications, important papers, jewelry and keys with you.
What if something gets damaged?+
Let us know right away. We'll look at it and repair it, replace it or pay for it under the coverage you chose.
